Description
Production of consumer goods impacts the planets in many ways, from water use, carbon emissions, to the collection the necessary materials. The purpose of this challenge is to help keep our impact to a minimum, by decreasing the demand for new products that people buy and affect the global consumption patterns. The idea is to buy used products that otherwise would have been bought from a normal store.
Levels
- Level C: Think about your consumption patterns and ways in which you could reduce the numbers of products that you buy.
- Level B: Sell some product in a second hand store rather than throwing it away.
- Level A: Buy a product that you need from a second hand store.
