The rising consumption of plastic-based consumer products over the recent decades has led to a current crisis of plastic pollution. This has become one of the main causes for biodiversity degradation, affecting flora and fauna at a global scale. The purpose of this challenge is to encourage you to think of your plastic consumption in your everyday life. We want to challenge you to use alternative products and encourage you to reduce your plastic consumption.
Levels
- Level C: Avoid the use of plastic bags at the supermarket. Which you can replace with a reusable fabric bag.
- Level B: Try and collect plastic trash that you might see lying around in your community.
- Level A: Check the tag! Avoid buying products that contain plastic.
